Hi everyone, I'm Katia D'Apostolo and I live in Accumoli, a small village between the Monti della Laga and the Sibillini, in the province of Rieti.

I'm a farmer and have been working for years to repopulate and revive my land, because I truly believe it: life is still possible here.

I know, for many Apennine villages, the only thing people hear about is earthquakes and abandonment. But every day I see a different truth: here, things are being reborn. Slowly, with difficulty, but truly reborn.

In Accumoli today:

- you live with little but well, without stress and without noise

- you eat real food, thanks to local agriculture and genuine products

- there is clean air, nature everywhere and healing silences

- there is work for those who want to do it, especially in agriculture, construction, tourism and crafts

- the houses are coming back, the reconstruction is going on

- we are creating opportunities for new families and young couples

- homeschooling, free and community education are also possible here

- whoever arrives is welcomed, not judged

And now I say it clearly: Accumoli is looking for new people.

We're looking for families hoping to change their lives, young people who want to build instead of fleeing, people tired of the city and the endless rush, but also foreigners ready to live here with us, integrate, and contribute to the life of the country.

Here there is space for ideas, working hands, projects and new energy.

We've been through difficult years, it's true. But today we're not a place to be pitied, we're a place to be chosen.
